• What is EILC Summer University ?
EILC (Erasmus Intensive Language Course) Summer University is a three-week program designed especially - but not exculsively - for Erasmus students coming to Hungary. Our aim is to give students an idea about Hungarian culture and to aquire new relations for their stay in Hungary.

Remember!! Erasmus students must send their applications to their home university's Erasmus coordinator and they'll forward to us before the 20th May!! Comenius assistants can send directly to us.
• What can I study?
Hungarian Language, Hungarian Cultural Studies and participate in Fieldtrips. This program entails lectures on various aspects of Hungarian culture (e.g. history, gastronomy, architecture, film and folclore) and fieldtrips to sites of historic and cultural significance apart from the intensive language course. Special events EILC 2010Last year we published our very first International Cookbook, containing the receipes prepared for the intercultural evenings of previous years' EILC students . We hope to create the second edition with your help! :-)

• Where does the EILC Summer University take place?
The Summer University takes place on the Piliscsaba campus of Pázmány Péter Catholic University, about 20 kilometres from Budapest. The natural environment and the vicinity of the capital provides a vivid and colorful background for extra curricular experiences and entertainement. • When does the program take place?
The program takes place between 17th August and 3rd September 2010.• When do I get information about the applications ?
The results of applications will be sent directly to the applicants after the decision of the National Agency. Usually it's the 3rd week of June.
• How much do I have to pay?Erasmus students only need to pay for their accomodation.
Additional costs may apply for optional programs.We have limited number of available places for non-erasmus students as well. They must contact directly us for information about the costs and to receive the application form.
• Accomodation
We offer housing in professors' apartments on Campus.
Double or triple room costs: EUR 250/person/3 week
